Leeward Bike Ride with Hawaii Bicycling League HBL

This morning we joined the Hawaii Bicycling League (HBL) for a Leeward Bike Ride. Most of the group met up at Blaisdell Park in Aiea (around 21 miles total round trip) but we met them closer to us at Kapapapuhi Point Park in Ewa Beach (10.5 miles total round trip). I asked one guy if he started in Aiea, he said no, he rode from Waikiki ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Part of the way, we rode on a newly built bike path and ended up at Ka Makana Aliโ€˜i mall’s food court for lunch. We picked Okome Bento and Sushi ๐Ÿ˜‹ for our lunch.

It was a fun ride and we enjoyed meeting new friends. I appreciate the way HBL is pushing for more bike lanes and promoting bicycling for a healthy community.

Here is the map of the route.
