Last night our friends and we attended Korean Night in Hawaii at the Hawaii Theatre. It was presented by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of ROK-US Alliance and the 120th Anniversary of Korean Immigration to the U.S. There were amazing and beautiful dances, music and costumes and they even gave us dduk, Korean rice cake, to take home. The day before, I happened to see an email from the Hawaii Theatre Center about this free event. It’s a good idea to get on their email mailing list, if you are interested in these types of events.
Before the show, we met our friends at a nearby restaurant, Fête, for a tasty early dinner.
