Car Trouble

We had car trouble today, the other day we heard an unusual noise and made an appointment in a couple days to get it checked out. But today on our way back from my pt appt, it basically died on us. 

Fortunately, we were able to pull off a main road (Kam Hwy) into a parking lot (Pearl City Post Office) and had to call a tow truck to take us to the auto shop and then took the bus home. 

Thanks to @rapidtowing_hawaii  for coming so rapidly  and @lexbrodiesoahu in Waipahu for helping us (Remember to ask for the Costco discount at Lex Brodie’s).

Hopefully the car’s diagnosis isn’t too bad but we’ll see.

UPDATE:  Lex Brodie Waipahu fixed it up, it needed a new alternator, alternator belt and battery. 

Lesson Learned: Don’t procrastinate, get your vehicle checked out ASAP when you sense something isn’t right to avoid future stress and towing fees.
