A Mouse in the House

We had a big problem with the dishwasher, it leaked water all over the kitchen. Long story short, a mouse (actually a rat) chewed up all under the dishwasher and the repairman said it would cost $900 to fix it so I’d be better off buying a new one (and rodent damaged appliances are not covered in our home warranty contract.) We called a pest control company and they went up on the roof, in the attic, etc. to try to block any entrances off (exclusion service). We’ll see… The pest control guy will come back if I find any evidence of those critters. We’ll probably wait a few weeks to get a new dishwasher to make sure the new one doesn’t get chewed up.
