After 30 Years, It’s Time to Donate the Uniforms

Yesterday after we left Tripler and since Ben retired 7 months ago, we donated his Navy uniforms to the Thrift Shop at Pearl Harbor. It was a little nostalgic, the end of a chapter and the beginning of new ones.

While we were at the base thrift shop, I saw some interesting signs for sale:

And it reminded me of a sign at my neighbor’s house that I like:

Some of Vicki's interests, in random order, include cooking (mostly Asian and plant-based) simple ethnic dishes using kitchen appliances/gadgets, minimalism/simple living, traveling (mostly in Asia), nature walking, snorkeling, container gardening, learning hula, reading non-fiction, listening to audiobooks, talking story with neighbors while walking our dog, visiting museums/historical sites, Lay Biblical Counseling and volunteering at church and in the community.
