Paradise
We were out of it last week after getting hit with covid . It feels SO good to feel normal again. Remind me to never take feeling healthy for granted. I took paxlovid because of underlying health issues. A lot of people complain about paxlovid’s awful metallic taste in your mouth, which I agree, it tasted terrible. But in one sense, I liked that only because it curbed my appetite and it became an easy weight loss method since I need all the help I can get, haha. Wear a mask in indoor crowds and be careful out there!
Vicki and her husband are thankful for 1 elderly dog at home and 4 adult kids living out of state. Some of Vicki's interests, in random order, include cooking (mostly Asian and plant-based) simple ethnic dishes using kitchen appliances/gadgets, minimalism/simple living, traveling (mostly in Asia), nature walking, snorkeling, container gardening, learning hula, reading non-fiction, listening to audiobooks, talking story with neighbors while walking our dog, visiting museums/historical sites, Lay Biblical Counseling and volunteering at church and in the community.
