Water Leak Detectors

We’re trying out this product from Amazon, Govee Water Leak Detectors/Sensors and extra probes (affiliate links). A couple months ago an upstairs bathroom sink pipe started leaking in the middle of the night and it was effectively “raining” in our downstairs bathroom. Ben managed to turn off the water supply under the sink to stop the leak until the plumber could fix the problem. We have a couple of friends who have had trouble with major water leaks recently, one from a crack in an upstairs toilet and one from a faulty washing machine. My biggest concern is if we were away for a couple of weeks and a leak went undetected. These water leak detectors were easy to set up and we experimented by putting them in a few drops of water and they worked fine.
